Ugandan rapper from the 𝘏𝘢𝘬𝘶𝘯𝘢 𝘒𝘶𝘭𝘢𝘭𝘢 label (subsidiary label of Nyege Nyege) MC Yallah returns to Prague’s Bike_Jesus club on May 25.

During her visit this year, Yallah will introduce the Czech audience to her new album Yallah Beibe, which was produced in Kampala with producers Debmaster, Scotch Rolex and Chrisman.

East Africa’s underground electronic scene has been gaining traction in recent years thanks to Ugandan label Nyege Nyege, under which MC Yallah broke through in 2019 with her album Kubali. Original work with lyrics, language and captivating live shows (which Czech audiences could experience at Prague’s Stalin during the club night Šelest or at last year’s Beseda festival) soon made the Kenyan-Ugandan MC one of the rising stars of the global music scene.

Yallah Beibe’s new album combines MC Yallah’s tried-and-true methods with elements of trap, dancehall and industrial, intertwining them with producer Debmaster’s heavy beats influenced by genres from around the world.

The event is supported by the Ministry of Culture Czech Republic and by the Prague City Hall.
