Art icon Juliana Huxtable, rising star from Nyege Nyege label DJ Travella, live performance by Krabs and top local DJs. The third edition of ŠELEST night will come back to Ankali with a mixture of forward-thinking sounds from across the globe,. On the Saturday 15th of October the main floor of Ankali and Planeta Za will also host DJ sets by Arnii, DJ Bingo, Ssnurssla and Evil Medvěd b2b Zey, all exploring genre-free variations and top-notch mixing.
The peak-time duties will be taken byJuliana Huxtable – multidisciplinary artist, DJ and author. She has collaborated with SOPHIE or Björk, exhibited and performed at MoMA and is currently based in Berlin. As a member of artistic collective House of Ladosha and in her performative and musical work, she explores themes connected to identity, gendre and queerness. Her DJ sets draw inspiration from experimental music, as well as industrial or free jazz.
„The joy, for me, is to reach a kind of ecstatic cutting, chopping, looping and mixing of multiple tracks,“ Huxtable recalls for RA. „If I were to just sit there while the track plays for two minutes I would lose my mind.“ Long-awaited Prague debut of one of the top DJs on the planet.
DJ Travella takes a new, fresh look on Tanzanian singeli music – a high-speed genre which can go up to 300 bpm. The music producer officially debuted on Nyege Nyege tapes this April and since then his energetic live sets and innovative work has found its way to European festivals.

The Czech premiere shall make Planeta Za jump in joy.
