Fusion of Detroit techno, vibrant synths, house and atmospheric rap – that’s HiTech, headliner of 7th Šelest. The next event from the series of club nights with a focus on experimental and dance music from floors across the Globe takes place in Bike_Jesus on the 9th of February. Get ready for (mostly) straight beats and more names to come. 

Hi-Tech

The Detroit-based trio featuring MC-producers King Milo and Milf Melly, along with DJ 47Chops, draws inspiration from the energetic dance style of jit, reminiscent of Chicago’s footwork. Hi-Tech combines it with street rap, sensual R&B, and slippery techno to create a boundary-breaking sound. Their latest release, DÉTWAT, is a half-hour exploration of captivating raps, unordinary beats  and glitchy samples, capturing the essence of a sweaty basement party.
